Chalet D'Antoine

The MB Race was a massive success in its first year with over 1,000 riders and 500 voluntary workers ensuring the smooth running of the event.

Our guest Fred Frech, riding for Ego Bike won the event and was the only man to complete the 140km, which included 6,000m of climbing! A storm forced the other competitors to finish at 100km but Fred was too far ahead for it to trouble him.

Meanwhile on the downhill time trial, 5 timed descents were made taking the competitors all over the Jaillet side of Megeve. There was a great atmosphere amongst the riders, who stopped at the feeding stations at the top of each lift to exchange stories, excuses and tips!

Both races finished back in Combloux, where the event village and its tired riders were being pumped up by free massages, tartiflette and the beer tent complete with dj's. 

An excellent start to a great event and can't wait for next year now, hope you can make it too!
