Welcome to Megève
SB Roof TopMegève
Visit Megève once and you’ll know why it draws people back. Located in the Mont Blanc region, just over an hour’s drive from Geneva, this traditional Alpine village with its narrow streets, tiny local squares, old stone bridges and fountains, offers picture postcard views, exclusive shops, fine restaurants, lively bars and great nightlife including the town’s own casino and jazz club.

Activities in and around Megève
In summer there is so much to see and do in and around Megève. For those looking for active pastimes, Megève offers a base for every conceivable alpine sport, including mountain biking, white water rafting for all levels, mountain climbing, paragliding and quad-biking. Megève town itself offers the exhilaration of the Luge d’ètè (summer toboggan) swimming in the Olympic-size open air swimming pool at the Palais des Sport and tennis on either indoor or outdoor courts.

Golf
For guests preferring a more sedate pace of life, there are several golf courses in the region, including Megève’s own 18-hole Mont d’Arbois Golf Club course (designed by Henry Cotton). Guests staying at the Chalet d’Antoine can play the Mont d’Arbois course for a reduced rate. Less than an hour’s drive from Megève are the towns of Chamonix and Annecy. They are each worth a visit for their culture alone but both also boast first-class golf courses.

Enjoying the mountain scenery
The Megève district is renowned for its beautiful walks, with breathtaking views around every corner and distinctive alpine fauna and flora waiting to be discovered. Or to relish the exquisite scenery from another angle, hot air balloon or helicopter flights are available. You can also go horse riding, try your aim at clay pigeon shooting or just relax and soak up the alpine atmosphere
