Instructional Skiing Holidays at the Chalet d'Antoine from Simon Butler Skiing.

Simon Butler established his ski business in the picturesque French resort of Megève 28 years ago, with a unique blend of accommodation and ski instruction.

This formula, along with a quality hospitality package has led to return/recommendation rates of 92%, as well as a number of Tripadvisor awards.

A weeks holiday with Simon Butler includes two hours of instruction each day, with BASI qualified instructors and a race on Friday, which is often opened by our ski and boot shop owner Valentine Scuotto (ex World Skiier Cross Champion).

Our packages are very popular with families and groups of mixed ski abilities. This is because the lessons allow individual ski performance to be improved as well as the opportunity to ski with friends and family.

A hearty breakfast at the Chalet d’Antoine provides the perfect start to a day’s skiing and upon returning to the hotel home-made tea and cakes await in the lounge. This time provides a good opportunity for guests to take advantage of the in house massage service to restore aching muscles, pick up their little ones from the crèche (nanny service) or wander round the boutiques and bars of Megève.

At just an hour from Geneva the short transfer time gives the option to get an afternoons skiing in on transfer day and with low awareness amongst tour operators the slopes are often free from the masses.

The main reason that Simon chose Megève was for its perfect teaching conditions, with a wide variety of nursery slopes, gentle greens and cruisy blues, yet still enough challenging terrain for the more advanced skier.

Food is an essential part of every ski holiday and with an executive chef of Michelin Star background you can be sure that your senses will be delighted as well as having specific dietary requirements catered for to the highest standard.
